Community Pushback: How We Handle Your Submissions
Thank you for getting in touch. Every submission we receive is logged and reviewed by our team. We may contact you for more information, such as dates, locations, photos, or any correspondence you've had with the council or councillors.
Who we are
Community Pushback is an independent community page run by local residents. We're not affiliated with Stockport Council, any councillor, or any bus or service provider.
Non-political and non-religious
We focus only on local services and issues, such as transport, roads and council responsibilities. We won't publish submissions that promote any political party, religious view, or campaign.
Not a formal complaint
Sending us your complaint isn't the same as making a formal complaint to the council. Please report your issue to them directly as well.
Photos and content
By sending us photos, videos or details, you confirm that they're your own or that you have permission to share them, and you agree that we may publish them on our page. Please don't send images where people can be clearly identified, especially children.
Your privacy
We won't publish your name or personal details unless you tell us we can. Your information is only used to support our community work and is never shared without your permission.
What we publish
We may edit or decline any submission, for example to remove personal information or anything we can't verify. We aim to keep everything we post factual and fair.
Removal requests
If you'd like something you sent us taken down, or you appear in something we've posted, email cpb@istockport.co.uk and we'll deal with it promptly.
